This Privacy Policy explains how MCP AI Ventures ("MCP", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit mcpaiventures.com or contact us through our forms.

This document is provided for transparency and information. It should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before being relied upon as a binding policy.

1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

• Information you submit via our forms — e.g. name, work email, company/organization, country, sector, your message and any details you choose to share (startup, corporate, investor or partner enquiries; newsletter sign-up).
• Technical data generated automatically when you visit — e.g. IP address and basic request logs handled by our hosting provider for security and reliability.

We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers, and our fonts are self-hosted (no requests to third-party font services).

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you request.
• To connect startups, corporates, investors and institutions as part of our marketplace, advisory and deal-flow activities — only where relevant and with your agreement.
• To send you updates you have subscribed to (e.g. the Morocco AI Index), which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• To operate, secure and improve the website.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (e.g. when you submit a form or subscribe) and our legitimate interest in operating the platform and responding to enquiries.

5. Service providers

• Form delivery: form submissions are processed by Web3Forms, which forwards them to us by email.
• Hosting: the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes technical data to deliver and protect the site.

These providers may process data outside Morocco; we rely on their respective safeguards for such transfers.

6. Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. As part of matchmaking, we may share relevant details with selected counterparties (e.g. a startup with a corporate, or a founder with an investor) only with your agreement. We may also disclose data where required by law.

7. Retention

We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including Morocco's Law 09-08 and, where relevant, the GDPR), you may request access to, correction, deletion or portability of your data, and object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@mcpaiventures.com.
